    Think about proclaiming the good news on a Sunday morning! We need readers for each worship service. The scripture passage is emailed to you in advance. You can sign up for a Sunday that best fits your schedule.

  • COMMUNION  assistants

    Currently individuals help set up/clean up communion on the altar as well as set out a tray of individual grape juice/wafer cups.

  • aLTAR fLOWERS                                          SIGN  UP

    Church members may sign up to provide Altar Flowers for a Sunday of their choice. The information provided regarding the reason (e.g. in honor of, in thanksgiving for, etc.) is printed in the bulletin. You may take your flowers with you after the final worship service. 


    What is the Cost?  $30.00

  • eTERNAL FLAME                                         SIGN  UP

    Church members may sign up to sponsor the Eternal Flame bimonthly of their choosing. Information provided regarding the reason (e.g. in honor of, in thanksgiving for, etc.) is printed in the bulletin.


    What  Is  The  Eternal  Flame?  This is the candle that is always lit in the sanctuary. The symbolism behind the flame holds deep roots in the Christian faith., dating all the way back to the Old Testament!  To learn more about it's history CLICK HERE.

  • USHERS/GREETERS

    Ushers provide an invaluable service before, during and after worship. They help prepare people for a positive worship experience by greeting them, distributing bulletins, and assisting with seating. They are also available to answer questions and extend extra help if needed. A short training session is provided. 


    Am I Required to Usher Every Sunday?  No, you will be placed on an 'usher team.' A schedule is set to best fit the needs of each team.

  • tECHNOLOGY tEAM

    Technology is always improving! We are committed to implementing and maintaining a robust technology plan focusing on the following areas: Live streaming, sound, other audio/visual needs, creating PowerPoints, assisting staff with computer needs, and beyond. 


    This team is responsible for Live Streaming worship services each Sunday. We welcome members with computer expertise or those that wish to learn. We are also looking for people with sound system expertise.

  • PROPERTY  TEAM

    This team helps to maintain our building and grounds. They are in charge of church maintenance (e.g. lawn & garden care and light building repairs). They also oversee contracted projects (e.g. carpet cleaning, painting, snow removal, etc.). They are always looking for people with knowledge of skilled trades such as carpentry, electricity, painting, plumbing, and cleaning.

  • OFFICE ASSISTANTS

    This group of volunteers offers assistance to our office manager. Some tasks include helping with bulk mailings (stuffing envelopes, labeling, etc., and occasionally helping answer phones.

    • WORSHIP COMMITTEE - -  This committee meets throughout the year to plan worship schedules (Advent, Lent, Christmas, etc.) and to help organize other special worship events.                                              Who Can I Talk To With Questions?  Carol Peterson


    • PARISH EDUCATION COMMITTEE - - This committee meets monthly and oversees religious education programming.  Programs include events such as Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and Adult Education/Bible Studies.     • YOUTH & FAMILY COMMITTEE - -  This committee meets monthly to plan special events designed to engage our youth. Some events include elementary age/family events (e.g. Easter Egg Hunt, Winter Carnival, etc.) and middle/high school aged/family events. (e.g. fundraising opportunities, special outings, lock-ins, etc.).     • DECORATING  COMMITTEE - -  This committee comes together  to make the church festive for each season.     • FUNERAL  LUNCHEON  COMMITTEE - -  This committee comes together to support funeral services. They provide baked goods and will help serve if needed.     • LIBRARY TEAM - -  In the St. Luke's Library we have books that may be checked out on a variety of different topics. This includes books for small group discussions and daily devotions.
