In Baptism parents promise to help their children grow in the Christian faith and life. Children's ministry  is a resource to help families live out that goal. Our religious education programming is designed to help children learn and grown in faith. We want them to live in the good news that Jesus loves and cares for them always.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Meets Sunday mornings following worship from 10:15 AM - 11:00 AM.  All supplies are provided. If you are interested in signing your child up for Sunday School, Click on the 'Register Now' button above.   

  • Preschool (Ages three/four) -  Students gather together in their classroom to hear the Bible lesson, sing songs, and do a craft. 
  • Kindergarten - 5th Grade -  Students gather for a brief music time, and then break into grade-level specific classrooms to dig deeper into the Bible story for the day. Students may do a craft, a science experiment, or play a game associated with the lesson. 


SPECIAL EVENTS

Special events are designed to help children and families grow together in faith while having fun and meeting new friends! Click the picture to the right to view upcoming events. Some examples of our special events are: 

  • Easter Egg Hunt -  Children gather to collect Easter Eggs filled with candy and other prizes. A light lunch is held after, which is a great fellowship hour for families. 
  • Pajama Christmas Vespers  -  Vespers is a worship service usually held in late evening. Though this service is done in the "early evening" children are invited to attend in their pajamas and snuggle in the lap of a Mom, Dad, or special adult in their life. Together we will hear the Christmas story, sing carols and worship the Lord. 
  • Winter Carnival -  Our lower fellowship hall is transformed into a carnival with a variety of different games, prizes, and carnival related food. This February event is great for families to come together!
